FAQ about netcup

Is netcup trustworthy?

Yes. netcup was founded in 2007/2008, has operated its own data centers in Nuremberg and Vienna for many years, has been part of the Austrian Anexia group since 2016, and provides a DPA under Art. 28 GDPR through its customer portal (CCP). As of: 07/2026.

Where are netcup's servers located?

netcup lists Nuremberg (Germany), Vienna (Austria) and Amsterdam (the Netherlands) as European server locations within the EU. Manassas in the US and Singapore are outside the EU. Check which locations your chosen plan offers before ordering.

How do I redeem a netcup voucher?

Enter the voucher code in the 'Gutschein' field during netcup checkout; the discount is shown before you complete the order. Our deal pages automatically pass the code to the cart. As of: 07/2026.

How often does netcup run promotions?

netcup publishes time-limited promotions and offers for individual products. This does not establish a fixed date for the next suitable voucher. Check the specific deal's status, documented verification date and conditions.

netcup or Hetzner — which is cheaper?

The cheaper provider depends on the plan, contract term and your needs. Compare resources, operating costs and the price after any promotional period. Our netcup vs. Hetzner comparison helps assess these factors.

Are there netcup vouchers for new and existing customers?

Vouchers from the netcup partner program are for new customers only. Whether a separate promotion also applies to existing customers depends on its conditions. Read the deal conditions and check that your cart accepts the discount for your account before placing the order.

Does a netcup voucher provide a one-time or recurring discount?

This depends on the specific voucher. Check whether its discount is described as one-time, limited to certain billing periods or recurring. Also check the minimum contract term, setup fees and subsequent price; the confirmed order summary is decisive.

Can I combine netcup vouchers with other promotions?

Combinations cannot be guaranteed for every voucher. Check the offer's restrictions and the discount actually shown in your cart. Place the order only when the final price matches your expectations.
